Meet the Founders of Breathing Prosperity The four founders of Wealthy Women LLC and Breathing Prosperity hail from very different backgrounds, and have come together in pursuit of common goals. Breathing Prosperity was created as a place where people can learn about:
…and much more. It is the culmination of decades of work and discovery on the part of the founders, and it offers you a chance to learn, in one special place, from the experiences of each. Collectively, these women have spent many years exploring and applying these concepts. They each bring their own backgrounds and perspectives to this site, and as they venture further upon their own unique paths to wealth and happiness, and you will find a wealth of information, tips, and product recommendations here. The Wealthy Women want to share what they have learned, and as they continue to grow, to interact with those who are blazing their own trails to success - to encourage and help each reader to define and achieve success for themselves.
Ophelia Nicholson Ophelia grew up on the beautiful island of Jamaica, and now resides with her two children in Maryland. She grew up with her family telling her that she could achieve anything if she tried, and that you have to rely on yourself to make your dreams come true. Ophelia took these lessons to heart at an early age, and decided to live the life of her dreams, which are ever-expanding. Her first step as a young adult was to pack up her hopes and with her infant daughter in tow, move to the United States. It is with this brave spirit that Ophelia forged a new life for herself, and is a thriving, successful woman today. She is an author, public speaker, real estate investor, expert currency trader, and currently consults in the lending and finance industry. On top of this, she is a fabulous manifester! Ophelia is passionate about helping struggling women begin to stand on their own feet and build a life of prosperity and abundance. She knows that if she can do it, anyone can, and she wants to share this information and know-how with as many women as possible. She is on her way to meeting her ultimate financial goal of being the first Jamaican-born to appear on the Forbes 400 (wealthiest Americans) list. Shauna Arthurs Shauna lives in Toronto, Canada with her daughter and fiancé. Entrepreneurial blood runs through her veins, and she has changed careers several times in order to discover new horizons, and create more joy and satisfaction in her life. Shauna continues to share her business skills by consulting within industries she has worked in, including aviation, winemaking, writing and editing, and real estate. She is currently learning to trade stocks and currencies. Shauna craves adventure, and holds her pilot’s license, motorcycle license and scuba diving certification. Her biggest passion is expanding her ability to define and create her life as she wants it to be, which involves the financial freedom to travel and explore the world, and to experience absolutely anything she chooses ~ for Shauna, this represents true freedom. Shauna has dealt with personal loss on many levels in her life, and acts as a volunteer bereavement counselor and palliative care supporter for her community Hospice. Having been through her share of challenges and difficult choices, Shauna’s gift to this site includes career and life advice; she encourages others to look within and follow their hearts to create joy and satisfaction in their lives; to create a life that signifies and reflects all that will bring satisfaction and true joy.
LaKeitha Simmons LaKeitha adores life with her husband and two beautiful children in Illinois. She is a passionate believer in overcoming challenges by listening to one’s heart, and having faith in one’s own ability to create a desired outcome. Her own life has included many challenges, which she has overcome using perseverance, and faith in herself and others. Despite caring for her chronically ill mother, for example, LaKeitha put herself through college, and graduated with honors ~ the first in her family to obtain a degree. She is solution-oriented and a gifted communicator, always using the path of joy as a guide, and it is this combination that makes her successful. In her professional life, LaKeitha acts as a speaker, educator, researcher and author, all of which are driven by her love for connecting with people, and sharing her skills and knowledge. This desire to genuinely connect with and support people in achieving their goals is what makes LaKeitha such an asset to this group. She deals with those experiencing feelings of frustration, feeling ‘stuck’ and/or facing challenges they may feel are overwhelming.
Peggy was raised on a farm in rural North Carolina. Here she not only learned the virtues of hard work, but also the value of dreaming big, and seeking adventure. Always with an eye on learning and doing more, Peggy left home for broader pastures and began pursuing those dreams. An artist and scholar at heart, she has done everything from run for local Mayor to attending courses at several colleges. She learns by `doing' and has held positions in a wide variety of industries, just to learn what makes them tick firsthand. Peggy and her husband live in North Carolina and are both accomplished artists, with pieces on display in various museums and private collections. Her passion for learning and personal growth has given her a vast background of knowledge that she brings here to generously share with us. |
